Step 1
Condition your clay by running through your pasta machine,
folding and running through again.
Repeat 6-7 times -or- warm your clay up in your hand and
work with it until it is pliable.
Step 2
Roll clay out on thickest setting. Fold it over making sure
not to trap any air between layers.
Step 3
a. Lay clay on a cutting board. Cut out wavy donut pattern.
Place over clay. Draw around edges.
Cut edges of clay at an angle with exacto knife.

Smooth edges with finger.
Step 4
Lay donut on a non-stick craft sheet in a melting pan or
toaster oven.
Cover and bake at 275 degrees for 7 minutes. Take out and
let cool.


Add Silver leafing if desired. Apply dual stick adhesive to
donut, let dry until tacky,
lay sheet of silver leaf over, gently brush leaf to get it
to stick to glue. wipe away any excess silver leaf.
Step 5
a. Spread the Clear Dimensions Powder into the Swirl lines
using your finger.
b. Sprinkle a thicker layer of Clear Dimensions on the mat
surface covering the Dimensions that is in the lines.
c. Heat with a Heat Tool until melted completely. You can
tell when it is completely melted when the Clear Dimensions
has turned clear and glossy. (You can also melt the
Dimensions by placing it in your melting pan.)

Step 6
a. Let Dimension swirls cool before peeling out of mat.
b. To speed cooling process, dip your mat into a dish of
water for a few seconds.
c. Lift up an edge and peel off mat.
d. After peeling Dimensions Embellishment out of mat, place
over your clay donut. Trim off overhanging pieces. Lay over
donut, heat with your Heat Tool or place it in the melting
pan to let it melt over and conform to the donut’s shape..

Step 7
a. Lay your donut with the Dimensions Swirl Embellishment on
it over your non-stick craft sheet in your melting pan.
b. Sprinkle the Enamel ARTZ powders as desired to create the
color combination you desire.
c. Cover and let enamel powders melt.

Step 8
String cording through donut.
